Deleting music from my Music Library

Post by btanchors » Sat Jul 06, 2019 9:16 am

I have a Blusound Vault 2i.

In my music library, I have a number of CDs that were ripped as "Unknown CDs". I want to remove these files from my library, so that I free up space and they don't show up in the listings.

I have accessed the Bluesound storage from my PC. Is all I need to do is navigate to the \shared\Music directory and delete the entire "Unknown CDs" folder, then re-index?

I know there was supposedly a "how-to" in the online support notes, but I cannot find it.

Yes, except you need to rebuild your library to make the deleted tracks disappear: help -> diagnostics -> rebuild library.
