auto sense not working

hi All,
Is it my imagination / stupidity but is there no search function on this forum.

Anyway, I have a Node2 & Samsung TV but the Optical input no longer works.
There use to be the option on the 'front page' of the controller app (iOS & PC) to select Optical as the input and all worked well. I change the speaker on my TV to external and the source as optical and the TV sound played through my Node & hifi. But this no longer works and I don't know when this broke.

I raised a support call a few days ago but have not received any response.

All apps & OS versions are up to date, restarted the Node.

Can someone suggest the next course of action?

Regarding search function - try Google, it usually provides better and more relevant answers than native search functions on discussion forums in my experience (limited, but hey ...)
Start your search term with "" and then the actual key words you're interested in. Google will only display results from site you specified.

Sorry, I have no idea on how to make your optical input react as you wish.
Main system: NAD M50/M51, Gdis 400 (don't ask), Magnepan 3.6; Flac music library (Linux Samba share) & Tidal/WiMP HiFi streaming account

I would check the optical lead first, try unplugging it / plugging it back in at both ends. Also check the lead is showing a red light at the end that plugs into the Node,
