Powernode 2i and Standby

Is there anyway to tell whether the Powernode 2i had gone into standby?

I have tried the "Amplifier Standby" option on both on/off settings (iOS app) and left the Powernode alone for an hour. There is no difference as far as I can tell between the settings. All lights remain on and playback starts up immediately on both.

There is no indicator but rest assured it does as it is required to do so by default or we would not be able to pass requirements by the EU.
