Shares no longer automatically found

Post by MoPac » Tue Apr 30, 2019 10:34 am

Windows 10 ISP Comcast
When I look in Settings / Music Library / Find Shares they no longer show. They can be entered manually, but are no longer listed automatically. No changes have been made in file sharing settings for Windows 10 and ESET is not blocking any traffic.
The automatic listing of all shares used to work OK.

Thanks. Rich

Windows no longer broadcasts them with their latest update for security updates. We can only show what they broadcast...

Added to this, I am unable to add manually - am getting the message 'mounting share failed'.

My music is on a QNAP NAS

Any ideas?

Thanks

Tony:
Weird. Suddenly all the shares show. The shares I use are not Windows; They come from a Bryston BDP-2. Other shares are WD NAS & Sonic Transporter i5. The Windows shares also show now. I changed nothing...???? :?:

Rich.
