Well, I’m waiting for a pretty long time now until this bug will be fixed. So the very first thing I do when a new BluOs release is out is test this. Only to find out within seconds the bug is still there.

Besides that, BS acknowledged that they know it’s still there, but also they intent to fix it. It was mentioned in this very same thread.

OK, thank you for testing and reporting your findings.

A question to Bluesound: Can we assume that if the Roon sync bug gets fixed in a future BluOS version it will be explicitely mentioned in the release notes?

We generally mention items like this in our Release Notes so no worries.

The sync issue still hasn't been fixed with the latest firmware upgrade from mid-December 2018, am I right? How far down the priority list is this issue? Can we expect a fix in the next 2 months, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years? A rough indication would help manage our expectations. Thanks!

I can confirm that sadly my Node 2i and Flex 2i still suffer from the sync problem when using Roon. It appears the problem has not yet been resolved by Bluesound.

Dear Bluesound,

I am considering purchasing some additional blue sound speakers and I would be grateful for some clarification / update regarding the status of the Roon sync bug. As we know there is a bug preventing audio sync when controlling multiple Bluesound devices via Roon. We know that Bluesound has been working to resolve this for the past year:

Based on my brief testing with a Node 2i and Flex 2i (both ethernet wired) a few months ago, the bug persists. Can you please provide an update on if/when this bug is going to be resolved?

An update would be a great help for my upcoming purchasing decision.

Same here.

I really want to extend my system with additional BS devices, but I can't justify spending one more euro on extra BS hardware as long as this sync bug persists.

Multi-room playback from Roon to BluOS devices should be considered as core functionality since BlueSound devices are still listed as Roon Ready players. This functionality is not working as advertised for quite a while now.
