Just updated all my players to BluOS 3.0 just to find out that the sync issue between Bluesound players when using Roon, for which we all were so desperately hoping for a fix, did not get resolved with this release.

Yeah same here.

Maybe BS can comment on the status of this bug?

Hopefully you don’t consider this sync bug to be fixed because clearly it isn’t.

Hi folks, we cleaned up a number of Roon related issues, updated a number of things that required in the backend but didn't have the chance to get to the sync issue yet. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Just to be clear, is it still the intention that this issue will be fixed, in both existing and new hardware? Whilst it's great to see another RAAT iteration so quickly in Bluesound devices, the sync issue seems so fundamental for Roon users that I really would hope for it to be prioritised.

Yes, we want to have clean integrations, and is part of our overall planning.

Is the Roon sync issue solved in BlueOS 3.0.0? I can't test it, because I spent my Roon evaluation period struggling with that issue and decided not to get Roon until the issue is resolved. So it would be good to have some clear confirmation (or denial) that the issue is resolved.

How do you know that the sync issue has not been resolved yet? Did you test it, or was an official statement made by either Roon or Bluesound?
