Vault 2 ripping no longer working

My Vault 2 hadn't been used to rip a CD in about 9 months to as much as a year (though I don't think it was actually that long.) I just haven't been buying more CD's, I've been getting some vinyl.

Today I received the new Gregory Porter CD and put it in my Sony CD changer to hear ONE song, on my main system. It played fine and sounded great. Next I go upstairs to where my Vault 2 lives, connected to my Denon AVR-1912 receiver. I put the CD in, and in about 45 seconds it spit it back out. No rip. I tried it 4 more times, same result.

I then unplugged power from the unit, waited a minute and plugged it back in. After a minute or so It connected to my Ethernet. Still no rip.

Downstairs to my office, I searched my network and the Vault 2 doesn't show. Still doesn't, and I've tried everything. However, the Library on it does show up on all Bluesound devices. After messing around with some settings on the Windows Media Player app, I was able to rip the CD with my PC and it shows up in the library. I was able to play it from two of the 3 systems I have, didn't try it on the 3rd.

To use my PC and Windows Media Player is NOT why I spent big bucks on a Bluesound Vault 2. I've ripped perhaps 250 to 300 CD's with it, and it seems that may be all it's going to do. What can I check?

I was able to rip the CD with WMP and it did land in the Vault 2. I did a "rebuild index" and eventually it showed up in Library. I can play it.

It comes down to my Vault 2 no longer rips, and presumably at 2+ years old the warranty is toast. Its only ripped about 200 CD's in its life. Ouch, that really hurts.

I tried another CD and the Bluesound Vault 2 ripped it on the first try. I then again tried that same new CD, which is Gregory Porter, “Take Me To The Alley”, 2016, on Bluenote Records and it failed just like before.

It seems this is just one of those CD’s that will play on my Sony CDP-CE500, will play and rip with the HightScribe DVD-CD drive on my Windows 10 PC, but will NOT rip with my Bluesound Vault 2. This may not be a fault with the Vault, but something about the CD that it doesn't recognize and won't engage automatic ripping. Has this ever happened before?

Just a little note to state that Bluesound support is just incredible!

The problem turned out to be a failed "media board" and I now have a factory refurbished unit installed here at home. It took a while to get all my music back onto the new unit, but it's all working fine again.
