Re: Post deleted

I believe there are some guidelines on content and language as forum admins want this forum to be a friendly place. Much appreciated of course! Maybe you will get a PM from them if that is the case.

Re: Beat streaming services

Sign up to Tidal and Qobuz so you can compare them (in their respective apps and also in Bluesound's implementation). Just cancel them if they don't work for you. I prefer T over Q and have never experienced any playback issues with their service that other Bluesound users seem to.

Re: Switch recommendations

I’m on your side when it comes wi fi vs hardwired. So much better sound, when you use network cables. Do you use Hi Fi network cables,or just standard? I only cable my avr, oled, and uhd player to never have dropouts. Cables are pretty basic Audioquest Pearl because they are black and have slim conn...

Re: Switch recommendations

I’ve heard someone uesd a permanent black marker. That seems risky to me. I was thinking of buying me some black electrical tape, then tape some round the ethernet port. I use black electrical tape for all my Bluesound speakers to hide the blue led on the fronts. Suggest you use that for the etherne...

Re: Switch recommendations

Zyxel ES105v3 does a great job (GS105 if you want more speed). Use mine for avr, oled, and uhd player. Cost appr 25 euro. Rest of network is TP-Link, no issues mixing brands.

Re: Soundbar vs Soundbar 2

Hi Rob,

if not mistaken, main updates are hdmi (incl e-arc and cec), dual band wi-fi, two-way bluetooth, airplay 2 and improved wall bracket. There should be no sound improvements over the original bar, but operation via hdmi cec could be important enough to some.

Re: MacOS app nonfunctional

I have a kind of mix of Dutch and English language. I can live with that, but maybe it will be fixed with an update later on? Think somebody mentioned recently desktop controllers are all English whereas phone+tablet apps are all local language. If you still see a mix in yours, I'd expect it to cha...

We are looking at adding to the network driver periodic rescanning to resolve this issue later this year.
Happy to hear, assumed rebooting was the only option to make full use of battery packed Flexes - this will be great(er). Thanks!

Re: Problem pairing Vault2 and Flex2i

I am in the process of buying a new hub, a TP Link. Have TP Link Deco M5 (4 units) and 250/100 fibre and no problem playing/grouping my below players, all but the AVR are on wi-fi. So, hopefully TP Link will sort you too. I stream only 16bit flac via Tidal by the way, always smooth/no dropouts. App...
